One document is    signed by Thomas Tanner, "Captain of the Royal Artillery, Deseret." There is a pencil drawing of a cannon</dc:description><dc:description>Thomas Ellerbeck, originally from England, converted to Mormonism and came to Utah in 1851. He served as Brigham Young's clerk, as engineer for the Salt Lake City Waterworks, and as Colonel of Ordnance of the Utah militia in the Nauvoo Legion.</dc:description></oai_dc:dc>
