Manuscript on Islamic law dealing with how to establish evidence when two or more claiments are asking for shares in someone's inheritance by Muḥyī al-Dīn Muḥammad ibn Ilyās Jawī Zādah (d. 1547 or 8), a prolific Ḥanafī scholar, muftī and qāḍī of Turkish origin. Copied by Muḥammad Rashīd ibn Fayḍ Allāh, probably in the 17th century, in Turkey

Incipit: "... Iʻlam anna al-rajulayn idhā iddaʻayā ʻaynan wa-barhanā fa-lā yakhlū immā an iddaʻá kilāhumā mulkan muṭlaqan aw iddaʻá kilāhumā mulkan bi-sabab wāḥid bi-an iddaʻayā irthan aw shirāʼan min ithnayn aw min wāḥd aw iddaʻá aḥaduhumā mulkan muṭlaqan wa-al-ākhar natājan aw iddaʻá kilāhumā natājan aw iddaʻá kilāhumā mulkan bi-sababayn mukhtalifayn min wāḥid aw bi-sababayn mukhtalifīn min ithnayn ..."

Modern binding.
In clear unified naskhī script; in black ink, on yellowish paper; with headings, keywords and markings in red; catchwords.
Preceded by an introduction in Ottoman Turkish (folio 1b-3a) and a table of contents (folios 3b-6b).
Folios 1a and 28b-34b contain advices, proverbs, prayers, poems, invocations, etc. in Arabic, Ottoman Turkish and Persian.
Several dates are found in the manuscript; the earliest are: [1]101 H [1689 or 1690] (folio 29a) and [11]57 H [1744 or 1755] (folio 31 b).
Ample notes on the margins.
