Date of production based on exhibition history; this drawing was exhibited at the Incorporated Society of Artists in 1767. - Provenance
- Formerly owned by Dudley Snelgrove FSA, MBE (1906-1992); sold at his sale, Sotheby’s London, 19 November 1992, lot 255 (part lot). Acquired by Martyn Gregory Ltd, 1992; held in a private collection in the UK until 2022. Purchased by The Lewis Walpole Library from Karen Taylor Fine Art, October 2022.
