"In front of the sign of the (Hapsburg) Spread Eagle on a vertical post, a lady and gentleman stand together in back view, their attitude reflecting that of the bird with its two necks. She stands (left) slightly behind him taking his arm and looking to the left, holding up a closed fan. He bends to the right holding out his hand as if to greet an acquaintance.
