Abstract: A mock coat-of-arms for physicians with fifteen heads of doctors, three of whom, in the top row, are identified as John Taylor, Sarah Mapp, and Joshua Ward; three in the lower centre peer at liquid in a glass phial, the one to left using a pince-nez. The whole is contained within a black border or hatchment supported by cross-bones. The text on the scroll at the bottom of the design: "Et plurima mortis imago."
