The author finished writing his book on Saturday, 17 (probably 27) Rajab, 1019 H (5 [probably 15] October , 1610) at al-Jāmiʻ al-Azʹhar. Copied on Tuesday, 14 Jumādá al-Ūlá, 1054 H (19 July, 1644) at Masjid ʻAbd al-Mājid at ʻAnabtā, a village in Jabal Nāblus by Yāsīn ibn ʻAlī al-Labadī al-Ḥanbalī al-Azʹharī for al-Shaykh ʻĪsá ibn ʻUṣfūr of the village of Barqā. It was written at the order of the pride of the righteous, the beauty of the successful and the dean of the sufis, the brother in God and the companion to Paradise, God willing, al-Shaykh ʻĪsá ibn ʻUṣfūr of the village of Barqā. May God forgive our sins and his sins. Amen. I beg him not to forget me in his perfect invocations that God may grant me a good end. Praise be to God in whose grace all good things are accomplished and prayer and peace be upon our master Muḥammad, upon his family and his companions at all times."
