Ten other creditors sit and stand round the table and are grouped (right) at its far end. A stout man (right) sits looking at a dog feeding from a bowl. Another dog (left) pulls at the coat-tails of his master, the debtor. On the wall which forms a background is a framed 'Perspective View of the Kings Bench'. Above it is a bust portrait of 'Ld Mansfield'.
