Autograph document on parchment containing a very detailed household inventory of the contents of the 94 rooms of Ingatestone Hall. Compiled after the death of Robert, third Lord Petre, the inventory includes the contents of the servants' quarters and offices (such as the buttery, the falconry, the washhouse and the slaughterhouse), as well as the furnishings of the Great Chamber, the Chapel, the family bedrooms and closets, and the nursery
The last two skins contain an inventory of the contents of the Petre family's town house in Aldgate
