Script: copied by a single hand in Southern Gothica Textualis Formata with Spanish features. Nota quadrata music notation. Additions of text and music by later hands.
Paragraph marks and rubrics in red. Yellow heightening of majuscules. Large plain initials (height: 1 stave + 1 text line). Cadels of the same size.
Text and musical notation on a five-line staff. Large initials in red, brown, and blue. Rubrics and liturgical instructions in red. Additional antiphons with musical notation added in margins in a hand of the 17th-18th century. - Provenance
- Copied in 1571 by Petrus Ferdinandez of León by order of Maria de Henao, nun of a Cistercian convent called Carectum, for the use of the novices. Formerly Beinecke MS 3.32.
