Bound portfolio of 67 prints by William Hogarth. According to Ronald Paulson it was assembled in 1753, possibly by Hogarth himself for his friend Bishop Hoadly. Formerly held in a library in Winchester, Hoadly's diocese. The first sheet is the portrait print of 'Bishop Hoadly' rather than the more common 'Gulielmus Hogarth' suggesting that it was assembled for Hoadly. The latest print is 'Breaking the egg" without receipt, suggesting a publication date after December 1753 when 'Analysis' was published

A collection of 75 wash drawings and watercolor landscape drawings, mostly unidentified and unsigned. Later annotations attribute the drawings to Mason, Gilpin and Holland, and identify specific places in the British Isles: Mason's Arched Rock on the Isle of Wright, Bolton Abbey; Gilpin's Windermere Lake; Summer House Aston Rectory,Yorkshire. Possibly drawings executed for Gilpin's series "Observations, relative chiefly to picturesque beauty, made in the year ..." or for his "Observations on the River Wye, and several parts of south Wales, &c." Also laid in is an engraving in blue ink on a paper doily etched with the title: Maths.Huelin & Ca. Malaga. Some drawings dated in pencil on mount, in a later hand, "1797".

A collection of prints and drawings probably assembled in the late 1830s or early 1840s, although the drawings may have been executed earlier. The wash drawings by Agnes Berry are of mostly Italian sites in Genoa, Florence, Naples, Rome, and Nice with one drawing of Mont Cenis in France. The lithographs are more varied in theme and include: two engravings after paintings by Raphael, possibly removed from an illustrated book; etchings and lithographs of carriages and coaches; lithographs of buildings; a group of four etchings by Henry Monnier and two lithographs by Delpach; and nine etchings and engravings of contemporary actors and actresses in theatrical costumes. A collection of 74 from a total of 139 drawings of plants with insects by Thomas Robins, all described in a 19-page catalogue in the artist's hand. The drawings are numbered in pencil [by a later owner?] on the verso, and in a few instances on the recto. For the catalogue Robins created five columns on each page in which he entered for each drawing the Linnaean name, the English name, the class, and the order as well as a list of the insects that appear in the image

An album of watercolors assembled by the gentleman farmer and amateur artist John Tomes showing views of his manor house Weston Sands House and the surrounding countryside. Tomes recorded his estate from many angles and in all seasons as well as picturesque spots in the neighbouring countryside, including several views of the River Avon which bordered his estate. Also included are a series of watercolors taken on a trip to the Isle of Wight. There is also a view of Windsor Castle (?) across the Thames and many watercolors of medieval ruins, abbeys, and castles. Tomes also copied a number of Turner prints from the ‘Liber Studiorum’ (published 1807-1819) and his ‘Picturesque views on the Southern Coast’ (published 1814-1826).

An album of illustrations by various artists, probably compiled by a member of the Mordaunt family. The album contains views of coastlines and ports including Port Eliot, home of Mordaunt friends the Eliots of Port Eliot, in the Parish of St. Germans, Cornwall, drawings of ruins, rural scenes with livestock, and a pencil portrait of a girl aged about 10.

Charles Mordaunt (1771-1823), 8th Baronet, was a member of Parliament representing the constituency of Warwickshire. A Catholic and Whig, he married Marianne, daughter of William Holbech of Farnborough Hall, Warwickshire in 1807; the couple lived at Walton where they raised one son and two daughters: John Mordaunt (1808-1845), Mary Mordaunt Acland (ca. 1811-ca. 1851), and Emma Acland (1813-)., Title devised by cataloger., Drawings are dated from 1815 to 1829 and laid on 29 leaves of various colored paper. Two undated watercolors are signed by Lady Marianne Mordaunt; two other illustrations are initialled S.C.E., possibly Susan Caroline Eliot who was born in 1801. The pencil portrait is signed "M.E. by Miss Masters, 1824." A pencil sketch of a ruin on a cliff is signed F.J. as are two other watercolors with another three unsigned views. Other drawings are signed C.E.W (1824 and 1828) or C.W.
