Flügel) misprinted ʻAbd al-ʻAzīz as covering fann al-tafsīr only., Kâtip Çelebi gives the author's surname as al-Zamzamī al-Makkī. Brockelmann, S II, p. 509, lists a Naẓm ʻilm al-tafsīr under ʻAbd al-ʻAzīz ibn ʻAlī al-Zamzamī, d. 1568, possibly the same work. "al-Shudhūr al-dhahabīyah wa-al-qiṭaʻ al-Aḥmadīyah fī al-lughah al-Turkīyah", a textbook of miscellaneous vocabularies and glossaries in Arabic with their corresponding equivalents in Ottoman Turkish, written for the benefit of a certain "Aḥmad", the son of a high ranking, unnamed dignitary, by Ibn Muḥammad Ṣāliḥ (Molla Sâlih, Mullā Ṣāliḥ, Mawlānā ibn Muḥammad Ṣāliḥ), referred to as Shaykh al-Arwām, who was teaching at the Eşrefiyye medrese (al-Madrasah al-Ashrafīyah) in Cairo, and was alive in the year 1029 of the Hijrah (1619/1620). Abstract:
Manuscript on medicine and pharmacology by Abū Saʻīd ibn Ibrāhīm al-Mutaṭabbib al-Maghribī, a little known physician and pharmacologist who seems to have lived in the 12th century. The name of the author is given as "Abū Saʻīd ibn Ibrāhīm al-Maghribī" in one of his medical/pharmacological manuscript works: "Kitāb fatʹḥ al-tadāwī min jamīʻ al-amrāḍ wa-al-shakāwī fī mufradāt al-ʻaqāqīr, [17--?]" which he dedicated to the Amīr Shams al-Dīn Abū ʻAbd Allāh Muḥammad Dhū al-Qarnayn ibn ʻAyn al-Dawlah, the son of Amīr Ghāzī who seems to be the Danishmendid ruler Dhū al-Qarnayn, d. 557 H/1162 CE (OCLC 244629229). In the printed editions with slightly different titles: "Taqwīm al-adwīyah al-mufradah, aw, al-Munjiḥ fī al-tadāwī min jamīʻ al-amrāḍ wa-al-shakāwī" as Ibrāhīm ibn Abī Saʻīd al-ʻAlāʼī (OCLC 785065773) and "Taqwīm al-adwīyah, aw, al-Munjiḥ fī al-tadāwī min ṣunūf al-amrāḍ wa-al-shakāwī" as Abī Saʻīd Ibrāhīm ibn Abī Saʻīd al-ʻAlāʼī al-Maghribī (OCLC 796221762). The manuscript was read and collated with the copyist (whose name is not mentioned), as mentioned in the colophon, by the physician ʻAbd Allāh ibn ʻAbd al-Muṭṭalib al-Khālidī (?) al-Khurāsānī (an obscure physician) on 23 Ramaḍan, 1021 H (17 November, 1612). A treatise on Islamic law according to the Shāfiʻī tradition by Jalāl al-Dīn Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad al-Maḥallī (1389-1459), an Egyptian, Shāfiʻī, Qurʼān and Islamic law scholar, from Cairo (Egypt), being a commentary on "Minhāj al-Ṭālibīn" of al-Imām al-Nawawī (Yaḥyá ibn Sharaf, 1233-1277), a well-known and prolific scholar from the village of Nawá in Ḥawrān (Syria), an authority on the Hadith and Islamic law. The present manuscript is part of the original work, covering the subjects (Bayʻ to Raḍāʻ "Sales to Breastfeeding"). Abstract:
A treatise on Islamic law by Marʻī ibn Yūsuf al-Karmī (d. 1623 or 1624) a prolific Ḥanbalī Islamic law scholar and historian, born in Ṭūrkarm (Palestine) then moved to Jerusalem and Cairo where he died. The author finished writing his book on Saturday, 17 (probably 27) Rajab, 1019 H (5 [probably 15] October , 1610) at al-Jāmiʻ al-Azʹhar. Copied on Tuesday, 14 Jumādá al-Ūlá, 1054 H (19 July, 1644) at Masjid ʻAbd al-Mājid at ʻAnabtā, a village in Jabal Nāblus by Yāsīn ibn ʻAlī al-Labadī al-Ḥanbalī al-Azʹharī for al-Shaykh ʻĪsá ibn ʻUṣfūr of the village of Barqā.
