Unexecuted design for chimney-piece for Wentworth Castle in Yorkshire, with scale and measurements and notes on the design. In a letter dated 27 March 1755 Walpole wrote to Bentley, "Your chimney is come, but not to honour: The caryatides are fine and free, but the rest is heavy: Lord Strafford is not at all struck with it, and thinks it old-fashioned.
