- On the right, the chairman of the Robin Hood Society leans over a rostrum toward the speaker, Jeffery Dunstan, a hawker whose physical deformities and wit led to his election as the "mayor of Garrett" shown in the image behind him on the wall. The caricatured audience, plebeian in its appearance, along with the subject of an upcoming debate announced on the side of the rostrum, further ridicule this well-known debating society

- A scene in London, possibly near St. Martin's-in-the-Fields, shows a musician at an open window holding his ears against the noise of the street; a pregnant ballad-seller chants while her baby cries and a parrot above her head on the lamp post squawks; a milkmaid and other street-traders cry their wares; one small boy plays a drum while another urinates under the startled gaze of a small girl who holds a rattle and stands by a house made of toy blocks; an itinerant oboist plays; a dustman carries his basket and a bell; a knife-grinder sharpens a cleaver, a dog barking at his feet; on the roof at the right two cats fight (both shown with arched backs) just beyond the chimney from which a chimney sweep emerges

- Abstract:
- The Coalition ministers are gathered around the table placed in the mouth of a cave. On the left sits Lord North wearing armor under his cloak, a goblet in his left hand. Opposite him on the right is Charles Fox, dressed as a centurion and sitting on a fox. He leans on the table keeping his right hand on three dice signed, "Madras," "Bombay," and "Bengal," and clutching a dice box in his left. Behind him Admiral Keppel, the date of the battle of Ushant (1778) on his helmet, raises his goblet in a toast. Behind him Sheridan, with ass's ears and "School for Scandal" written across his head cover, watches the Duke of Portland count out money to Lord Carlisle. On Portland's shoulder leans Lord Cavendish in a centurion's armor under his cloak. Between him and North sits Burke in a Jesuit's outfit reading his own "Plan of oeconomy [sic]." Under the table lie the corpses of Lords Shelburne and Ashburton, ousted by the Coalition
