- "George IV sits fishing under a little pavilion; his rod is a sceptre, larger than that in Britis Museum Satires No. 15126. He has hooked a frog, which Lady Conyngham, kneeling beside him, is about to scoop with a landing-net. She says: Oh what a beautifull fish! I think its something of the Gudgeon kind, but a most Noble one. A large kingfisher stands on the opposite bank watching them. The King sits on an ornate stool, resting a gouty leg on a smaller one. He wears a bell-shaped top-hat, the plain high-collared coat of recent portraits with knee-breeches. Beside him are creel and bait-box. The pavilion is merely an ornate canopy for his stool, decorated with onion domes like that of the Pavilion, bells, and a crown. Lady Conyngham wears a décolletée dress with long gloves, and roses in her hair. - A thin man in a cap pulled down on his head feeds a morsel of food to an obese woman who combs a wig in her hand as they sit on a sofa before a table laid with lunch. They are in a well-appointed sitting room decorated with a mirror above a fireplace with a mantel on which sits a clock, a sheet of music entitled 'Romance', and under a glass vitrine, a statuette of man holding a bird on his finger. The fire screen is decorated with an image of two love birds. On the left edge is only a portion of painting, but it shows a bird perched on the finger of the sitter's hand. The man's discarded hat and walking stick rest of a sofa to the left

- "The interior of a coffee-house, the customers, with one exception, deeply interested and dismayed at the news in a 'Gazette Extraordinary', which the title shows is that on the capture of the island of St. Eustatius by Rodney, see British Museum Satires Nos. 5827, 5837, &c, the 'Extraordinary Gazette' being that of 13 Feb. 1781. On each side of the room is an oblong table flanked by wooden settles. Between the tables and in the centre of the design three men stand, one of whom reads from a 'Gazette Extraordinary'. His two companions look at him with scowling attention; one, his hat under his arm, has both hands thrust deep into the pockets of his coat; the other holds his forehead, from which his wig has been pushed back. A dog gazes up at them. At the table on the left a man sits in full face gaping with dismay, his hands rest on the table grasping his knife and fork. Two men sit on opposite sides of the table on the right; one holds a glass in his left hand, while he looks up at the group with the newspaper. His vis-à-vis has turned sideways, his hands on his knees, with an expression of melancholy alarm. Behind him, one hand on the back of the settle, stands John Wilkes, conspicuous by his squint and his characteristic wig; he holds a glass of wine and frowns. At his side is a man leaning back asleep. A cockatoo's cage is hung from the roof, the bird head downwards, as if about to screech. - Abstract:
- A volume of etchings by three daughters of art collector John Ingram 1767-1841) of Staindrop Hall in County Durham: Elizabeth Christian Ingram (born 1795), Caroline Ingram (1800-1819), and Augusta Isabella Ingram (born 1802). The family lived in Venice and took instruction from Venetian etcher Francesco Novelli whose own etchings were in manner of Rembrandt and whose influence can be seen in the sisters' etchings. The style of the various impressions is very similar and were apparently made within a fairly short period if the dated prints are an accurate indication; some of the prints bound in first are dated February 1816 and then March 1816. This dating seems to be confirmed by a contemporary inscription on the front free endpaper: "These are the works of the Miss Ingrams' from their first lesson, 18..." Only five of the prints are unsigned; several prints in multiple impressions or two or more states, using brown and black inks and various stocks of paper, a few bearing a British watermark and date of 1814. Some of the prints have been mounted, but most have been printed directly on contiguous leaves forming the signatures of the volume

The images include a wide range of insects, aquatic animals, and mammals, both those common in England as well as those found in Africa and parts of the British Empire; small country scenes by Bewick or in his style; battles, scenes showing a variety of human relationships and occupations, and other scenes designed to illustrate chapbooks and tales such as Robin Hood and Blue Beard and other tales. - William Davison (1781-1858), printer in Alnwick, as well as a pharmacist, newspaper produce and local philanthropist; a partner with John Catnach until 1808. Davison's output included notepaper and handbills, newspapers, chapbooks, an illustrated bible, and prayerbooks.
