"A big cauldron rests on the bent backs of Wellington (left), supporting himself on his sword, Sidmouth, knock-kneed and holding a clyster-pipe, and Castlereagh (right), dandified and bland. From their mouths floats a scroll inscribed: "O is not this a Dainty Dish to set before a King." They are on a much smaller scale than the cooks, who stand one on each side, stirring the brew. One (left) is fashionably dressed, and stalwart, with brown complexion and negroid hair. He holds a green bag inscribed 'Rakings of Italy' and uses a spoon. A winged demon whispers in his ear: "Never mind the dirty work my boy it won't spoil your Complexion." He says: "It wants more seasoning master Cook." The other, pale and emaciated, and wearing barrister's wig and bands, stands on a large dispatch-box in order to reach the pot; this is inscribed 'G.R Milan Commission'. He stirs with a rolled document, and answers: "Indeed Mungo it must be warmer to be relished." Behind him and clutching his shoulder stands a large Devil, who says: "This beats the black Broth of Satan." The steam from the pot forms a background for a large fantastic face or mask, George IV, saying: "The Odour of this Cookery is exquisite! How Invigorating!! A nude couple (Mrs. Fitzherbert and the future George IV) in enormous wigs stands under the "Tree of Life." A sheet of paper covering the man's hips is inscribed "Mr. Rock." In his left hand he holds a ticket to a masquerade at Pantheon, in the right a walking stick. A serpent, inscribed "Modern gap of honour" glides between his legs and next to a saddle, whip and a riding hat inscribed "Furniture for saddling an estate." Next to the woman who holds a fan in front of her thighs, with a dog climbing up her knee, lie on the ground a staff and a comedy mask, a ticket and a letter addressed "To Belinda." Behind the woman a monkey is holding a mirror. Playing cards and dice fall off the tree which is hung with cards advertising fashionable places in London such as the Carlisle House, Pantheon, White's Club, Ranelagh and Almack's, among others. On the left a devil is walking away from her toward a roaring fire saying "I'll even back to Hell again, for these must be too knowing for me by the Size of their Heads." On the right in the background two men, identified as "Cain and Abel" are dueling. Another man lies on the ground having fallen off a galloping horse. The explanation below reads "For the benefit of the next heir."

"Satire on the end of Lord Rockingham's administration shown as a dance at court. The verses below describe the protagonists who have been numbered in pen and ink: in the centre, Princess Augusta (1) dances with Lord Bute (2) their joined hands holding a leading string attached to Pitt (3) with a gouty leg who leans on his crutch, adorned with a coronet, as he converses with America, a half naked native American woman holding a bottle of rum. To the left of the Princess, stand Charles Townshend (4), holding a weathercock, beside his partner Britannia standing on her head, her shield and spear fallen on the ground. Further left, Lord Northington (5) robed as Lord President of the Council holds a glass of wine towards his elaborately dressed young woman (6; identified by Stephens as Betty Careless, although she had died in 1752). On the right, Henry Fox (7) dances with the devil; behind him are a Frenchman saying he will not pay the Canada Bills recompensing Britain after the Seven Years' War, and a Spaniard saying he will not pay the Manilla Ransom, a sum of two million dollars offered to Britain by the governor of Manilla when the city was captured. At far left, the king (8) plays the fiddle accompanied by two Scottish bagpipers. Wilkes (9) flies above, a copy of his Essay on Woman in his pocket, bound for Paris on a broomstick with a witch who says she will take him anywhere but to Scotland; he defecates on the head of Lord Bute.
