Two cats scurry away from the commotion, causing flower pots to tumble off the ledge. On the wall of the building, to the left of the window, is a depiction of a mortar and pestle as well as a sign reading "Hand in Hand Assurance" beneath two hands joined together (the emblem of the Hand-in-Hand Fire Office). The sign beneath the window reads "Cawdle, Accoucheur & Apothecary. NB. Bleeding, Cupping, Tooth Drawing &c. &c."
