Their profile heads are enclosed in rhomboids resembling the diamond of a pack of cards, giving the profiles projecting noses with receding foreheads and chins. The defeated player (left) clenches his fist and raises a bare leg above the chess-board, kicking his shoe into the air. His opponent holds a cane which may indicate a doctor
