"Lady Conyngham stands directed to the left, feet apart, dressed as in British Museum satires no. 15720; she amusingly combines the ultra-feminine with masculine attributes and stance. She is immensely fat and wide with small cherubic features and curls; under her left arm is a cocked blunderbuss. She wears a wide-brimmed hat, a neckcloth fastened with a jewelled crown, a coach-guard's greatcoat, wide open over her tight-waisted dress. A pouch hangs from her shoulder and two coach-horns from her left arm. Above her head: 'I says to our Governor says I--keep your eye on them ere Leaders George'; i.e. on Lyndhurst and Scarlett, see British Museum satires nos. 15720, 15850. Cf. "Pushed by Knighton and pulled by Lady Conyngham, George IV, more corpulent than in other prints, walks in an ornate circular stand or support on castors (as used for toddling children, cf. British Museum satires no. 7497) towards Virginia Water (right), his fishing-rod against his shoulder. He wears a hat with a wide curving brim inscribed á la Townsend [cf. British Museum satires no. 10293], double-breasted tail-coat, breeches, and pumps; his right arm rests on the ring of the stand, in his hand is a small book: Old Izack [Walton]. From the stand dangles an ornate reticule: Fish Bag; the base is decorated with two fat squatting mandarins. Lady Conyngham looks over her right shoulder at the King, puffing from her effort, but singing Rule Britannia; the crossbar at which she tugs is a sceptre. She wears an enormous ribbon-trimmed bonnet and décolletée dress; the hook from the King's line has caught in her dress which strains across her vast posterior as she leans forward. Knighton wears a court-suit with bag-wig and sword. He pushes with both hands with great concentration, singing, Send him Victorious. In his coat-pocket are a clyster-pipe and a paper: Petition of the Unborn Babes. A signpost terminating in a realistic hand points To Virginia Water. Abstract:
"George IV sits fishing under a little pavilion; his rod is a sceptre, larger than that in Britis Museum Satires No. 15126. He has hooked a frog, which Lady Conyngham, kneeling beside him, is about to scoop with a landing-net. She says: Oh what a beautifull fish! I think its something of the Gudgeon kind, but a most Noble one. A large kingfisher stands on the opposite bank watching them. The King sits on an ornate stool, resting a gouty leg on a smaller one. He wears a bell-shaped top-hat, the plain high-collared coat of recent portraits with knee-breeches. Beside him are creel and bait-box. The pavilion is merely an ornate canopy for his stool, decorated with onion domes like that of the Pavilion, bells, and a crown. Lady Conyngham wears a décolletée dress with long gloves, and roses in her hair. Behind is a realistic view of the Cottage, with a peacock in front of it, and Windsor Castle."--British Museum online catalogue

"George IV sits on Lady Conyngham's lap, kissing her amorously; he wears a dressing-gown with ungartered stockings. Lady Elizabeth (right) bends over him, supporting his elbow, while her sister, Lady Maria Harriet, stands behind the sofa, close to her mother. All three women are in evening dress. In the foreground (right) Lord Francis, tall and fashionable, stands directed to the right, looking furtively over his right shoulder. He holds a large purse, and is slipping coins from it into his trouser-pocket; he says: Well as this Purse must go to Knight-on [the K scored through] I'll make the most of it. At his feet is an open book: Lord C . . . Advice to his Son * Get money . . . it Honest if you can--. The words are partly hidden by a smaller book: Cunningham Poems. Behind, on the extreme left, and directed to the left, Lord Conyngham, with small horns and large ass's ears, sits on a chamber-pot inscribed Chamberl . . . [ain], holding a long wand of office. He scowls over his shoulder at his family, saying, It's a Blessing to be Happy and Contented. Behind him is a (pictorial) fire-screen mounted on a pole which terminates in a crown: Conyngham crawls on hands and knees, blindfolded and bound; his wife sits on his back, with the King on her lap, embracing her. Behind the closely grouped heads of the King and the three ladies are hanging bookshelves, two of the books being open: A Lecture upon Horns facing a stag's antlers, and Jerry Sneak [the hen-pecked husband in Foote's Mayor of Garratt]. On the floor in the foreground are an open book: A Mothers advice to her Daughters [cf. British Museum Satires 14401] and a paper: A List of Choice Plays She stoops to Conquer. All in the Wrong. Against the pedestal leans a portfolio: Lady C------s Attitudes Suppressed. A connoisseur (right) gazes up through an eye-glass, saying, Bacchus was the God of Wine and good cheer, his 'favourite was Cxxxxxxm [lightly scored through] Ariadne, she was another mans Wife. Lord Conyngham (left), with antlers sprouting from his forehead, looks up at the statues; he says, Poh! "George IV sits on the throne, surrounded by kneeling women; he takes the hand of Lady Conyngham, who proffers their address: "Loyal Address of the Married Ladies." She says: "We the humble and Loyal Married Ladies feel ourselves bound in due veneration to your most sacred person to present to you our sincere thanks for the many tokens of Love we the Loyal Married Ladies have laid under and we humbly acknowledge the favours our Husbands as [sic] experienced through the medium of us the Loyal Married Ladies!!!--" Behind her, a second lady, resembling Lady Hertford, looks startled. With them is a third, perhaps Mrs. Quentin. Behind the throne, which he clasps, stands Hertford (or Conyngham, cf. British Museum Satires No. 13847) holding a staff topped by antlers; he gapes at the speaker, saying, "I never heard a speech from a Lady so Cunning--." The King adds "Hum!" On his right stands Bloomfield, looking slyly sideways at his master. Both wear frilled muslin boudoir-caps. There is no dais, and on the right two grovelling women kiss, one the King's left foot, the other his thigh. A third kneels beside them. On the left is a black woman, who says: "God bless Massa he kiss his black servant in the kitchen at Brighton [see British Museum Satires No. 13208, &c.], my good Massa, make no distinction, Black or White, Massa Love'm all." On the extreme left is the profile of a noseless prostitute. "The Queen stands beside the King, taking his arm; he drives away and kicks Lady Conyngham, who is surrounded by four other fugitives. He says: "Out ye Harlots--for such as you Kings have come to beggary--for such as you Kings have been Idolist [sic]--for such as you Kings have been Adulterers;--yea even lost their crowns!--God save the Queen--." Lady Conyngham answers, weeping, "Ah G--ge there was a time you did not use me thus--when you call'd me your Cunning -one." One of the women has fallen prone; she exclaims: "O how hath the mighty fallen." On the extreme right and next the Queen stands a bishop with a drink-blotched profile. He reads from a book: "Thou shalt not commit Adultery.--Put no faith in a woman that is wife to another; for she who is not constant to her husband will never be so to you,--for she who hath her husband to deceive every day, can deceive a gallant at leisure!"."--British Museum online catalogue
