However, the reference in the title to "the late Duke of York" suggests a date following his death in 1827, while the further reference to the house still being under construction ("now erecting") suggests a date before its completion in 1838., Imperfect; sheet trimmed within plate mark with loss of imprint statement from bottom edge.
