Beside her sits Wright, vulgarly smart, holding his bill headed Col Wardle to T Wright. Items follow, the total being £300; below this figure is 200, scored through and not allowed. She flourishes her whip, saying: "Altho I dont keep a barouche of my own, "I've a fine stud of Asses and They're all the Ton [cf. British Museum Satires No. 10638] Come up Neddy's Now you shall see how I manage my Ponies, I can turn them as easy as I can myself the leader Fred I have been flogging lately, & he has taken to kick this poor Devil Gwilly most unmercifully I have but lately brore [sic] him into the Shafts. Wright turns to her, saying, Aye Aye. you have done Wright. Behind the dog-cart canters a third ass, branded D, and ridden by a young military officer, with a letter in his pocket: To Cap D.
