"Two lovers embrace within a small shed inscribed 'Strong Box' supported on a pole; a tailor with huge shears is about to cut the pole, saying, "I'll upset the basket". The open doors of the shed are 'Modesty' and 'Chastity'. Behind is sketched an equestrian statue with a railing, indicating a London square. On the right is a room, flanked on the left by a high folding screen on which are bills with the titles of chap-books or songs relating to tailors, the uppermost being 'The Brighton Taylor' (see BMSat 6942, &c). In the room five men with horns sprouting from their heads approach a (?) lawyer sitting at a writing-table, who says, "Say & seal, I say said & sealed". Behind him is a vat "Filthy composition" into which flows "a pure stream to expose the secrets" which spills on a couple in an embrace, "How do you like it - non mi Ricordo." Passing an open door is Caroline, "The brewers wife." On the right are three men, one says, "Be just in all your dealings." "A large quasi-cylindrical Green Bag, see British Museum Satires No. 13735, stands at an angle with the ground like a mortar (and suggesting the Regent's Bomb, see British Museum Satires No. 12799), aimed at the Queen (left), who stands with right arm raised, left hand on breast, demonstrating innocence. Castlereagh touches it with a firebrand inscribed Lies, as if putting a match to a touch-hole; flames and papers shoot from the bag, but strike against the large shield, inscribed "Truth" and "Inocence," held by a woman in classical draperies, who is air-borne above the Queen, and raises the flaming sword Justice. She says fiercely: "Back to your Native Hell." She and the Queen are irradiated by a sun in the upper left corner. The flames are inscribed "Adultry" and "Charges"; the papers are "Evidence of the Baron Ompteda Lies &c" [see British Museum Satires No. 13745]; "Adultry with a servant" [Bergami]; "Charges." The blasts of flame strike on the shield and ricochet back against Castlereagh and his supporters, and downwards upon writhing serpents and a skull which have come out of the bag. These boomerang-flames are "Charges Repeld" and "Charges"; they terminate in great clouds of "Smoke." Behind Castlereagh (the only one who stands his ground, though alarmed) are Sidmouth holding his nose, (?) "A stuffed figure of George IV, heavy, inert, and puppet-like, wearing royal robes and with massive antlers on his forehead, is supported by his three chief Ministers. Under his legs are two prostrate men; his left foot is planted on the face of one who wears the remains of a tattered shoe. Sidmouth takes his right leg and holds it out towards the Queen, who escapes to the left. She is protected by John Bull, a stout countryman, who smashes the King's extended leg with a cudgel of 'oak', breaking off the foot. John, with clenched fist, says: "Dom thee, what Kick a defenceless Woman 'the Cowardly Rascal!" Castlereagh and Liverpool (right) support the King's shoulders. Behind (right) is a copy of British Museum Satires No. 13765: the King sleeps in a cradle (as in British Museum Satire No. 13764, &c.) rocked by Lady Conyngham, who sings: "hush my babe lie still & slumber 'tis Eliza guards thy Bed." The cradle is decorated with a pagoda, the Royal Arms, and a nude obese squatting Chinese, symbolizing the King. The Queen, looking behind her vengefully, escapes towards a Chinese doorway. He sits on a dais, with his right leg thrown over an arm of his chair; the right arm over the back, spilling a glass of wine. He says jocosely: "Well my boys, I think now we shall succeed D--d fine evidence from the states of Barbary (if that cursed Hedgehog dont get hold of it; the very man that says he acted as Accoucheur I have got over every thing as clear as the Sun at noon day, I knew what fellows those Turks were, only once get her over there & the thing was accomplished,--now for a divorce as soon as possible, I have a tit bit in my eye, & if I dont yet get a son, say that I am not a chip of the old Block!!" At his right sits Castlereagh, with the Prince's feathers and motto on the back of his chair. He turns his head in profile, saying, "I'm an unmatched negociator [see British Museum Satires No. 12501] and I'll enter into a treaty with the House of commons to secure your suit." In his pocket is a paper: 'Negociat . . with the'. Lord Eldon faces Castlereagh; he wears his Chancellor's wig and gown; the Purse of the Great Seal hangs on the wall behind him. He says: "I'll stick to your highness through thick and thin or never call me Old Bags again as long as I live!!" At the foot of the table sits Ellenborough, in wig and gown, towards whom the other two members of the Cabinet turn in alarm. Liverpool (a poor portrait) sitting opposite Vansittart, says: "I have my doubts and qualms of conscience your highness what say you, Van?" Vansittart, in his Chancellor of the Exchequer's gown: "Oh my Lord I have some strange touches of feeling on the subject!" He sits on a sack inscribed 'Budget'; from a rent in it projects a paper: 'to . . . 6.000000'. Ellenborough shakes his fist at Vansittart, rising from his chair which overturns: "Dont put me in a passion with your qualms and your touches, they are all "false, false as Hell" I'll blow you all to the D--l if you dont stick to your Master manfully!!" Queen Caroline is seated in a carriage pulled by two white horses lead by a young page towards the right; she holds a walking-stick in her hand, sceptor-like over her shoulder and wears a fashionable hat and a small smile on her face as she looks out at the viewer. She is accompanied by two men in armor and wearing plummed helmets. The one on the far-side of the carriage holds a sign "The people and the Queens Guards". Another sign in the background on the right reads "It is better to put your trust in the Lord than confidence in princes." A crown is shown on the far right
