Description:
A shield with fancy, leafed edging and surrounded by flora. Its ermine fretty has been divided by a gules fess with an or roundel at either end. In the center is a smaller shield with an argent field and divided by an azure chevron with three oak leaf clusters. Surrounding the chevron are three demi unicorns saliant; two above, one beneath. At the helm, atop a torse, is a large clawed paw grasping a staff with a fleur-de-lis at the tip. A note says that Milward was an M.D.

Description:
At the center of this plate, amidst a border containing the lettering of the title text, is a shield divided into quarters. The first and fourth quarters show an argent field divided by a gules fess, with three demi griffins surrounding it; two above, one below. The second and third quarters show a sable field divided by an argent chevron with three sable roundels upon it. Three embattlements surround this; two above, one below. At the helm is a knight's helmet; at the crest, from within a battlement is a raised right-handed, armored fist grasping a demi griffin. The helm is backed by long, elaborate leafing that hangs halfway down the sides of the shield. The other half, and further below, contains flowers, leaves, and cattails. Above the monogram of the plate owner is a long, flowing banner—upon which is the motto Manus Hæc Inimica Tyrannis.

A shield that has been divided into quarters—the first and fourth quarters each contain three fleurs-de-lis against a gules field; the second and third feature an or field. There is a small star in the center. At the helm is a knight's helmet which is flanked by leafing, of which continues downward, and combines with leaves and berries to surround the shield. At the crest, atop a torse, is a demi pegasus rampant, also quartered. At the base of the shield is the head and wings of a cherub.
