"A plainly dressed man drives a gig (right to left) on Epsom downs; the horse kicks, the man pulls at the reins, his companion in the gig attempts to climb out, clutching the back of the seat and displaying her leg above the knee. Behind (right) is a tent where liquor is sold, indicated by a round bottle tied to the horizontal pole.
