Inside can be found three scalpels of varying sizes and with bone handles, a retractor hook—also featuring a bone handle, an all-metal scalpel, a metal probe, a pair of scissors, and a pair of needle forceps. The manufacturer's label, J. H. Gemrig of Philadelphia, PA, is glued to the bottom of the box.
