Caption on verso: The fourth floor is largely devoted to exhibition space. Kahn created a system of skylights on the top floor, each daylighting a room-like space 20 feet by 20 feet defined by columns. The concrete columns provide positions for walls and temporary partitions which can create a variety of closed and open areas dependent upon the requirements for a particular exhibition.
