Script: Copied by a single hand in Gothico-Humanistica Textualis Libraria.
Decoration: Red headings; red or blue paragraph marks; red or blue 2- or 3-line initials; gold 4-7-line initials; large 11-13-line faceted initials, decorated with flowers, animals, etc. in a quadrangular trompe-l'oeil frame.
Binding: 19th century brown leather and red paper over cardboard; spine with 6 raised bands and gold-tooled inscription "POLISTORIO" in the second compartment. - Provenance
- Ex libris Rangoni Macchiavelli family; ex libris Sergio Colombi (1887-1972); purchased in 2007 on the Edwin J. Beinecke Fund.
