Description: "Advice from the Scandal club" was included in the columns of a Review of the state of British nation from Feb. 19, 1704-April 24, 1705. Owing to the vast amount of material received it was decided to publish a monthly supplement beginning Sept. 1704 (cf. no. 58, Sept. 23, 1704). This supplement appeared in five numbers from Sept. 1704-Jan. 1705. The Sept. 1704 issue (announced in the Review for Oct. 21, 1704) had the title: A supplementary journal to the Advice from the Scandal club.
Extent: 1 v. ; 24 cm.
Ceased publication with no. 5, Jan. 1705. The column in the Review, however, continued until April 24, 1705. In the Review for May 15, 1705 it was announced that the Scandal club was now a reality and would publish its proceedings twice a week.
