Abstract: A rider has been flung from his horse and lies on his face screaming; the horse races away without him. From one of his pockets spirts the contents of a bottle of wine, from the other a cold chicken is pulled out by two hounds while others approach with fierce intentness. A second rider just behind the fence gate pulls up his horse in alarm
