Title from caption below image. Printmakers from signature on earlier state. Reissue, with different imprint statement and with signature of printmakers burnished out, of a plate originally published 10 May 1781 by Watson & Dickinson. Cf. no. 5917 in the Catalogue of prints and drawings in the British Museum. Division I, political and personal satires, v. 5. Two lines of verse below title: Ah me! what various ills betide the looby who presumes to ride. Series numbering precedes title. Plate numbered "no. 9" in upper left corner. Temporary local subject terms: Equestrians -- Pastimes: Riding. Hand-coloring mostly obscures plate no. in upper left corner of sheet.
