He uses a pair of tongs to extract her front tooth as she winces in pain, clutching the arm of her chair right hand and crumpling her straw hat with her left. Leaning on the back of the dentist's chair, a second man stares at the scene, wide-eyed and grimacing as he hugs himself in sympathy
