Watermarks, in gutter: similar in general design to Briquet Couronne 4659; two unidentified serpents.
Script: Latin words written in humanistic bookhand; Greek words in a neat Greek minuscule.
First initial for each letter of the Roman alphabet: plain red or blue majuscules, 4- to 2-line. On recto, all Latin words begin with bright blue 1-line initials, on verso all begin with bright red; color scheme reverses on f. 7v to end. Art. 2, f. 1r, in pale red.
