Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive. From the collection of the Hartwell family, American Baptist missionaries serving in China between 1858 and the 1940s. Town called 'Head of the Dyke' north west of Shaoshing. [now Shaoxing]. Small buildings surround a body of water with mountains in the background. There is a large stack of bamboo poles in the water near the shore and boats on the water.
