Medical workers are carrying a wounded soldier on a stretcher through the streets of Shanghai to the hospital during the Japanese invasion of 1937. This photograph is from the papers of Frank and Verna Garrett who served under the United Christian Missionary Society in the Nanjing area from 1896 to 1932.
