Description
Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive. In the foreground, twelve women are crouched down tending to rice plants. In the background many other women can be seen working in the wide expanse of the rice paddy. The back of the postcard is blank and contains a printed title: "12. MADAGASCAR - Le Repiquage du Riz" ("Replanting the rice"). The back also contains printed information about the mission agency: "Pour <> - 79, Avenue de Breteuil, Paris XVe. Ch. post. 567-39 Paris".
