Three missionary sisters and nine indigenous women are standing near a dirt ledge about three to four feet high in front of a large brick house. The women are holding stone blocks and long poles as if building a support wall along the ledge. Postcard issued by the Congregation des Soeurs de Saint Joseph de Cluny, 21, Rue Mechain, Paris. The back of the postcard is blank.
