Les Marchands de Pain. ("Bread Merchants.") In front of a stone archway, one adult and two children sit behind a trunk upon which loaves of bread are stacked. All three are wearing white turbans and thick robes. Other people are visible in the background through the archway.
The back of the postcard is blank and contains printed information about the publisher: "Soeurs Missionnaries de Notre-Dame d'Afrique (Soerus Blanches) - Birmandreis (Alger)." The back also contains information about the printer: "Cie Alsacienne des Arts Photomecaniques. - Strasbourg."
