Description
Algerie et Kabylie - Alger-Marengo - Dispensaire - Ecole de la S.S.B.M. dirige par les Soeurs - La goutte de lait. Therese, fillette indigene, elevee par les Soeurs et devenue aide infirmiere, se dispose a peser un bebe. ("Algeria and Kabylie - Algiers-Marengo - Dispensary - School of the S.S.B.M. led by the Sisters .... Therese, a young indigenous girl, raised by the Sisters and become a nurse's aide, prepares to weigh a baby.") An indigenous women in a white dress stands at a scale. Behind her three women are seated with babies on their laps. Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive. The back of the postcard is blank and contains printed information about the publisher: "Soeurs Missionnaires de N.-D. d' Afrique, St-Charles - Edition G.-L. ARLAUD - LYON, Repr. interdite."
