Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive. Haut-Congo - Sur le Tanganika - De Baudouinville a Mpala. ("Upper-Congo - On Lake Tanganyika - Of Baudouinville at Mpala.") Two missionary sisters sit in the front of a long boat; eight indigenous men row the boat and another operates a rudder at the rear of the boat. In the distance a larger boat with a mast is visible. The back of the postcard is blank and contains information about the publisher: "Maison Mere des Soeurs Mres de N.-D. d'Afrique - (Soeurs blanches) St-Charles par Birmandreis, Alger. - Procure: Ibis, rue des Ecoles, Bagneux (Seine)." The back also contains information about the printer: "Ern. Thill, Bruxelles."
