Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive. Postcard issued by "Missions des Peres Maristes en Oceanie," a Catholic missionary order. The back of the postcard is blank and contains printed information from the publisher: "Sous-Procure des Missions - 6, rue de Bagneux, Paris-VIe." Rua Sura. La premiere station catholique des Iles Salomon. ("Rua Sura. The first catholic station of the Solomon Islands.") Twenty indigenous men, women, and children stand in front of three buildings on a road lined with palm trees. The first is a two-story missionary house, the second is a small white house with one entrance, and the third is a thatched house.
