The postcard is a drawing of an indigenous woman wearing a pointed hat and a large shell necklace. Postcard issued by "Missions de la Congregation des Sacres-Coeurs (Rue de Picpus)." The back of the postcard is blank and contains printed information from the publisher: "OEUVRE DES MISSIONS - Demandez renseignements et envoyez votre obole au P. Mouly, Seminaire des Missions, Montegeron (S.-et-O.)." ("WORK OF THE MISSIONS - Request information and send your offering to Father Mouly, Missions Seminary, Montegeron (S.-and-O.).")
