Description
A sewing class. Nantai. Foochow. Church of England Zenana Missionary Society, 27, Chancery Lane, London, W.C. (Series XI.)This shows a sewing class with eight Chinese girls. They are inside a large room. The back of the postcard is addressed to a Mr. Giles Trowswell Cottage Goudhurst Kent." There is a short note on the front of the card dated Mar-14-13 posted from Ilfacombe. "Just heard from A. Griffin + and she wants me to go to Kings Rd Chelsea with her Sat to Mon. So shall not be home till Monday night. So sorry. But it will be nice to see Ada. Much love Betty." Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive.
