Title: Recipe and charm book, [circa 1750].

Abstract: Manuscript in at least two hands containing 7 medical charms and 25 medical receipts. There are treatments for worms, sore throats, ague and fever, hornet stings, snake bites, whooping cough, scurvy and rashes, as well as a recipe for opodeldoc. The charms include "a charm for standing of the blood" and "a charm against festering." Accompanied by a modern manuscript transcript and research notes.
