Abstract: Autograph manuscript recipe book, in the hands of Elizabeth M. and Harriet Manning, containing over 100 cookery recipes for dishes including puddings, custards, cakes, breads, biscuits, buns, and creams; a few meat and fish dishes including eel soup and beef olives; and curry powder, "Italian cheese," and pickles in West Indian style. There are also a few household recipes for wash balls, furniture oil, ink, and "the Earl of Abingdon's powder."
