Abstract: An angry wife (left) with her hair tied up in a kerchief throws the contents of a chamber pot in her husbands face as she hammers him on the head with a small pick. The rotund husband with breeches untied winces in pain; in his left hand is a large stick. The cat clinges to his leg in terror. On the wall hangs a picture of "Patient Grin[?]".
