Hospital Number, 20,793.
Jacob F. Simmons, Private, Co. H, 82nd Pa. Vols., aged 20, was admitted to Harewood U.S.A. Gen'l Hospital, April 16th, 1865, suffering from gun shot wound of right shoulder, the ball entering near the middle of scapula, making its exit over the middle of left scapula, injuring soft parts. Wounded, April 6th, 1865, at the battle of Sailors' Creek, Va. On admission the condition of injured parts and constitutional state of patient were good. Patient was doing well when transferred to U.S.A. Gen'l Hospital, Philadelphia, Pa., May 28th, 1865.
