Harewood U.S.A. General Hospital,
Hospital Number 20,215.
Jarvis H. Kelly, Private, Co. H, 185 N.Y. Vols., aged 26, was admitted to the Harewood Gen. Hospital April 2d, 1865, with gun shot wound of back, near right shoulder. The ball passed upwards and came out near clavicle of same side. In its passage it fractured the acromion process. Wounded March 29th, 1865, at battle of Hatcher's Run, Va. On admission constitution was good, and wound in good condition. Treatment.—Several spiculæ of bone were removed, and simple dressings used. Nourishing and supporting diet. Patient is doing well; parts nearly healed.
