Fredrick Hohmann, Private, Company H, 1st Michigan Cavalry, age 27, wounded at Petersburg April 2nd 1865, was admitted to Harewood U.S.A. General Hospital, from City Point Va., April 5th 1865, with gunshot wound of thigh immediately above the knee joint, the ball entering on the upper surface of internal condyle of right knee, passing half an inch above the knee and parallel with it, to external condyle. When admitted, the patient was in good condition, with the exception of the parts in vicinity of the wound being very much swollen and inflamed, the joint not being implicated, the limb was kept perfectly dry and quiet. April 27, 1865, the wound is almost entirely healed, with no implication of joint, and constitutional condition of patient good.
