Hospital Number, 18,450.
John Miller, Private, Co. K, 118th Pa. Vols., aged 32, was admitted to Harewood Gen. Hospital Oct. 7th, 1864, with amputated left thigh, lower third. The wound was received Sept. 3Oth, 1864, near Petersburg, Va.; nature of missile not positively known, but supposed to have been the conoidal ball. The patient states that the ball passed through the knee-joint. On the 29th of March, 1865, a sequestrum measuring about six inches, was drawn from the end of the stump. The patient is now doing well.
