Abstract: The former industrious appretice Francis Goodchild is now Lord Mayor. The scene is Cheapside where we see the Lord-Mayor's carriage surrounded by a mob and with spectators in stands and at every window. The spectators in the stands include the Prince and Princess of Wales. Both sides of the frame are decorated with cornucopias
