Title from text below image. Date of publication based on date of The Maine Law (or "Maine Liquor Law"), which was passed on 2 June 1851. Text below title: Grand Papa. "But for seventy years, my child, I have found the moderate use of the good things of this life has done me good." Young hopeful teeotaller. "All a mistake Granpa', total abstinence is the thing. Look at me! I've not tasted wine or beer for years!" Sheet trimmed to plate mark. No. 49 in a bound in a collection of 69 prints with a manuscript title page: A collection of drolleries. Bound in half red morocco with marbled paper boards and spine title "Facetious" in gold lettering.
